What is TPAR and do I need to lodge one?

The Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) reports payments made to contractors and subcontractors. Most businesses in building and construction must lodge it by 28 August each year. We track contractor payments throughout the year and lodge your TPAR for you.

Can you connect ServiceM8, Tradify or simPRO to Xero?

Yes. We integrate job management apps such as ServiceM8, Tradify, simPRO and Fergus with Xero or MYOB, so quotes, invoices and payments sync automatically and your job costing stays accurate.

How do you track job profitability?

We set up tracking categories or job codes so materials, labour, subcontractor costs and variations are allocated to each job. You’ll get reports showing which jobs and job types make the most money.

Do you handle payroll for apprentices and construction workers?

Yes. We run payroll under the relevant award, including apprentice rates and allowances, report through Single Touch Payroll and pay super on time. We can also keep the employment records you need for Victoria’s portable long service leave scheme for construction workers.

Absolutely. Catch-up bookkeeping is common for busy tradies. We reconcile past periods, lodge overdue BAS and can work with the ATO on your behalf to get you back on track.
